These 5 trends I plan to wear all Summer

I guess you know by now that I’m not the type of person to hop on every single trend but I always keep a very close eye on what’s the latest and notable when it comes to new trends. Spring has always been a perfect time to spot new trends that are on the horizon for summer. From retro patterns and super-short minis to short suits and beyond, this spring-summer season there’s a bit of everything in a trend department. But there are a few trends that are catching my eye that can be worn with almost everything in my wardrobe. These 5 Summer trends I’m highlighting below feel classic and will stand the test of time, and make your everyday choices more fashion-forward.

Open back pieces

Make it a summer rule to always have an open back piece in your wardrobe. From bold prints to crisp whites, the high street and designers alike have created these dreamy pieces to suit every summer mood. Whether you opt for open back mini, midi, or simple bodysuit great backless pieces can take you from rooftop party to brunch, just add a sunhat and light sandals.

Square toe sandals

Consider upgrading your basics sandals this summer for one of these elevated square-toe styles to wear over and over this spring and summer. They will work with every denim cutoff you’ve ever loved and make all your airy summer dresses extra cool.

Mini Dresses

A beautifully crafted summer mini dress is truly timeless, forever piece to see you through every summer season. Whether you’re drawn to romantic ruffles or retro prints minis add chunky black sandals to channel laid-back summer cool and once drinks with friends are back on the agenda, simply add a linen blazer, barely-there sandals, and statement gold jewelry for a nonchalant after-dark look.

90’s Minimalism

Clean lines and relaxed approach, this is classic me. My everyday closet is pretty simple and ’90s-inspired – especially during the summer season. A lot of high-waisted jeans, simple tank tops, a dose of silky slip dresses, and flip flops with everything.

What began as a street style trend last season at the streets of Copenhagen, has landed on just about everything this spring. From voluminous sleeves to full skirts, this season is all about having fun with fashion. Take your puffy top into the evening with a little help from a pair of high-waisted jeans and bright square toe heels.
